Within the confines of the reserve perimeter fence, all the animals live their lives, uninfluenced by human activity. Only in times of drought do we step in to give that valuable helping hand to the most in need animals. The reserves larger animals which can be seen frequently include Giraffe, Zebra, Blesbok, Impala, Kudu, Nyala, Red Hartebeest, Warthog  and Blue Wildebeest. The lesser spotted animals include Blue Duiker, Aardvark, Aardwolf, Honey Badger, Mongoose and Porcupine.
